After discussing the brief with the owner, Bray Constructions engaged the architects and consultants required for the project. Together, the team developed a clever and functional design that transformed this tired, 100-year-old cottage into a modern and beautifully appointed three-bedroom home with two bathrooms and hydronic heating.
The completed home includes a new kitchen fitted with Miele appliances, together with dining and family areas designed to capture the warmth and natural light of the northern winter sun. Above these spaces is a complete bedroom suite with its own balcony.
Off-street parking for two cars was also incorporated into the property. Located close to High Street in Prahran, the transformed home combines modern design and functionality with the original cottage’s established setting, preparing it for many more years of use.
